An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join a dynamic organisation operating at the intersection of education, sport, health and performance.
This sector is experiencing significant growth as more students seek career pathways connected to sport, wellness, fitness, coaching, health science and athlete development. With increasing competition for student attention and enrolments, marketing plays a critical role in building brand relevance, driving engagement and delivering meaningful student experiences.
This organisation has built a strong reputation through industry partnerships, practical learning experiences and a community-driven culture. They are now entering a pivotal growth phase and are looking for a commercially minded marketing leader who can elevate the brand, strengthen recruitment outcomes and help position the organisation for long-term success.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead the marketing function across brand, digital, campaigns and communications. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine strategic thinking with execution to drive measurable growth outcomes across student acquisition and retention.
You’ll work closely with admissions, student engagement teams and external agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns that connect with prospective students and reinforce the organisation’s value proposition in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, partnerships and brand channels
- Drive student recruitment, conversion and retention outcomes
- Own brand strategy and ensure consistency across all communications
- Develop compelling campaign messaging and student engagement initiatives
- Manage agency relationships, campaign performance and marketing budgets
- Mentor and develop a small marketing team in creative, digital and design
- Use data, insights and technology to optimise marketing effectiveness and ROI
- Proven experience in a marketing leadership role with strong campaign delivery capability
- Background in sports, membership, lifestyle, education or consumer-focused industries highly regarded
- Strong digital marketing and performance campaign experience
- Commercial mindset with a focus on growth and measurable outcomes
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence across the business
- A hands-on leader who enjoys building capability, momentum and positive change
