Responsibilities
- Own month end for a commercial portfolio, including journals, accruals and general ledger reconciliations
- Deliver monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and KPI commentary, tracing movements back to source data
- Maintain the budget and forecast models for your portfolio and support the long range plan
- Partner with a commercial lead to explain results and keep operational and financial views aligned
- Contribute commentary to group reporting for senior leadership and the board
- Assist with occasional smaller business cases, such as a new tenancy
- CA or CPA qualified, or equivalent
- Solid experience in a senior management accounting, financial analyst or FP&A role within a large corporate
- Strong month end experience, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
- Experience maintaining budget and forecast models
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Ability to explain financial results clearly to non finance stakeholders
- Experience in retail, property, transport or infrastructure is highly regarded
- Available to start in December
- A 12 month contract with a large organisation covering a broad commercial portfolio
- Exposure across retail, property and transport areas of the business
- A supportive FP&A team and close working relationships with commercial leaders
