ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the CFO and partnering closely with divisional executives, the Senior FP&A Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance, capital allocation and strategic decision‑making across a diverse development portfolio.

You will lead financial planning, portfolio analytics, feasibility evaluation and commercial support for major development initiatives, while influencing executive leaders and contributing to strategic discussions at the highest levels.
This role blends FP&A leadership, advanced modelling, portfolio strategy, M&A evaluation and senior‑level business partnering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Finance, M&A & Portfolio Analysis

  • Drive divisional strategy and assess financial impacts of acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities
  • Lead feasibility studies, scenario modelling and commercial assessment across development projects
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on buy/hold/sell decisions
  • Evaluate asset‑level financial drivers and translate them into broader portfolio impacts
Financial Planning, Reporting & Performance
  • Own divisional budgets, forecasts, long‑range plans and reporting for executive and Board stakeholders
  • Oversee key performance metrics including IRR, NPV, returns, capital expenditure, incentives and valuation impacts
  • Ensure high‑quality financial modelling across income, capital, development and cashflow models
Business Partnering & Leadership
  • Build deep partnerships with senior executives, development teams, asset managers and operational leaders
  • Challenge assumptions, influence decisions and communicate financial insights clearly and concisely
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering excellence and collaboration
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to financial governance, control frameworks and compliance standards
  • Identify financial risks, opportunities and commercial impacts at both asset and portfolio levels
  • Drive improvements, standardisation and consistency in reporting and financial processes
Ad Hoc Projects
  • Support strategic initiatives across major developments, capital evaluation, transformation and analytics
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Background in FP&A, commercial finance, transactions, capital advisory or M&A
  • Strong experience in property development, real estate feasibility or property finance
  • Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis capabilities
  • Confident communicator with proven ability to influence senior executives
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights
  • CA / CPA / CFA qualified
  • Experience with financial systems such as TM1 or Yardi is advantageous
