Senior FP&A Analyst – Energy Services | 6-Month Contract | Temp-to-Perm
Location: Sydney, hybrid

We’re partnering with a leading energy services business to hire a hands-on Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Finance team. This is a 6-month contract with temp-to-perm potential, offering exposure to a large business, investment cases, pricing models, and strategic business partnering.

The Opportunity:

• Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, identifying trends and resolving issues proactively
• Lead Budgeting and Forecasting on behalf of your Sales business partners
• Analyse P&L, cash flow, project profitability, and cost run rates
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models supporting investment, pricing, and business planning
• Prepare board packs, reports, and dashboards in Excel and PowerPoint
• Support investment cases, pricing proposals, and capital-intensive projects
• Partner with the Sales team and other parts of the business to influence decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting, and financial processes

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified, with experience in capital-intensive industries (energy, utilities, infrastructure)
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and FP&A tech skills
• Business partnering to Sales teams highly regarded
• Strong commercial finance experience with business partnering and stakeholder management
• Experience with month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to navigate a complex business environment
