ABOUT THE ROLE
   
Provide technical accounting advisory and support to inform accurate reporting for an impressive ASX listed organisation. You will be a trusted adviser when it comes to compliance during large acquisitions and disposals.

DUTIES

• Act as a key technical adviser, regularly consulted by senior stakeholders on governance matters and commercial transactions
• Provide expert assessment of potential deals and contracts, challenging and advising to achieve the most commercially advantageous outcomes for the Group
• Interact frequently with senior leaders, offering technical accounting expertise and strategic input
• Navigate complex stakeholder relationships, often needing to push back and influence outcomes while maintaining trust and credibility
• Support the monthly financial close process
• Analysis of the impact of new accounting standards, including communications with executive stakeholders and the Board
• Assist in the preparation of ASX reporting deliverables for the half-year and annual reporting cycles

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• ASX Audit and or Advisory experience advantageous
• Open to first movers!
• Must have exposure to 
• High level of technical accounting expertise with a commercial mindset
• CA or CPA qualification 
• Strong communication and presentation ability
