ABOUT THE ROLE
   
Lead a high performing team to deliver accurate reporting for an impressive ASX listed organisation whilst becoming a key adviser when it comes to compliance during large acquisitions and disposals.

DUTIES

• Lead a team responsible for statutory reporting and the audit committee papers process for the Group.
• Act as a key technical adviser, regularly consulted by senior stakeholders on governance matters and commercial transactions.
• Provide expert assessment of potential deals and contracts, challenging and advising to achieve the most commercially advantageous outcomes for the Group.
• Interact frequently with senior leaders, offering technical accounting expertise and strategic input.
• Navigate complex stakeholder relationships, often needing to push back and influence outcomes while maintaining trust and credibility.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• ASX Audit and/or Advisory experience advantageous
• Open to first movers!
• Prior team leadership experience preferred
• High level of technical accounting expertise with a commercial mindset
• CA or CPA qualification 
• Strong communication and presentation ability
