ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Project Cost Controller / Cost Management Specialist to join a high-performing team delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong financial acumen, project controls capability, and the ability to partner closely with operational teams to drive accurate forecasting, reporting, and commercial outcomes
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage project forecasting, accruals, cash flow, variance analysis, and monthly financial reporting.
- Analyse project costs and performance to identify risks, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare accurate financial reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and controls.
- Review subcontractor accruals, budgets, cost reallocations, and maintain project financial systems.
- Partner with project and commercial teams to challenge forecasts and support key decisions.
- Support audits, governance, and continuous improvement across project financial processes.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Cost Controls
- CA/CPA (highly regarded) or Project/Cost background
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills is a must have.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Sound understanding of compliance, governance, and industry standards within project environments.
