If you’re an experienced account manager or sales professional with strong builder channel experience who enjoys shaping strategy, building partnerships and creating commercial momentum, this National Account Manager opportunity with VELUX could be your next move.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the builder channel nationally, working closely with some of Australia’s largest residential builders while helping drive the future go to market strategy for the channel.

What’s the opportunity?
VELUX is looking for a National Account Manager – Builders
, based at their head office in Alexandria.
This position will take ownership of relationships with key national and regional builders across Australia, developing partnerships that drive specification, product adoption and long term growth within the builder channel.
VELUX is bringing greater ownership and strategy to this channel, meaning this role will have the opportunity to further strengthen how the builder channel is developed.
The role will also involve developing and managing a national pipeline of builder projects and opportunities, ensuring strong visibility across key builders, developments and specification opportunities.
You’ll partner with the state sales teams to set priorities and drive execution through the field team, ensuring national builder partnerships translate into strong on-the-ground activity across regions.
Alongside this, you’ll collaborate with internal teams across sales, marketing and operations to build national programs and initiatives that support builders, strengthen VELUX’s position as a preferred partner and contribute to the ongoing development of the national strategy.
What experience do you need to have?
You’ll be a commercially minded sales or account management professional with strong builder channel experience, comfortable operating in a strategic and evolving environment.
In your current or recent role, you’ll have:
- Extensive experience working with residential builders and within the building products channel
• Strong relationship management and commercial negotiation skills
• The ability to operate strategically while still being hands on with customers
• Confidence presenting ideas and influencing internal and external stakeholders
• The ability to work through ambiguity and build structure in a developing space
You’ll be someone who enjoys getting close to customers, understands how builders operate and can translate those insights into a clear commercial strategy.
The role is national in scope, with travel required to engage with key builders across Australia.
