Responsibilities
- Own monthly P&L reporting and journal preparation for a business unit
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on variances
- Contribute to month end close activities
- Help untangle and correct how costs are allocated and charged across different parts of the business
- Field questions from operational stakeholders about cost movements
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting cycles
- Work alongside the wider finance team on tidying up existing processes
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CA or CPA qualified, or actively working towards it
- Solid background in financial or management accounting
- Strong Excel capability
- Comfortable operating without perfect data or fully defined processes
- Able to explain financial information clearly to people outside finance
