If you’re an FMCG professional with experience across Independent Grocery and Metcash, and you’re looking for more ownership, autonomy and commercial impact, this could be your next step.
This is a high-visibility role within a global multi-beverage business, offering the opportunity to drive growth across a key channel and make a tangible impact on both customer relationships and commercial performance.
What’s the opportunity?
As Key Account Manager, you’ll own relationships with key retailers and Metcash state teams across NSW, driving revenue and profit outcomes across your portfolio.
You’ll work closely with internal teams across marketing, category, finance and field execution, using insight-led thinking to shape commercial decisions and deliver strong in-market execution.
This is a role that offers real ownership, where you’ll be empowered to influence strategy while remaining close to the customer.
What you’ll be doing
• Lead strategic account plans across NSW Independent Grocery and Metcash
• Own full P&L performance for your customer base
• Drive alignment with field teams to deliver best-in-class in-store execution
• Build and deliver joint business plans aligned to customer and brand strategy
• Use shopper and category insights to unlock growth opportunities
• Monitor performance, identifying risks and opportunities
What you’ll bring
• Proven experience managing Metcash and or Independent Grocery customers
• Strong commercial acumen, including trade spend and P&L ownership
• Experience developing and executing joint business plans
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth
• Willingness to be in market, with approximately 30 to 40 percent travel
