Our client is a well-established business with a strong ANZ footprint, operating across consumer and industrial markets. They’re looking for a Head of Finance who’s genuinely good at both the numbers and the people side — because this role demands both in equal measure.
You’ll lead the Finance function across Australia and New Zealand, sitting at the senior leadership table and partnering closely with the country leadership team. The mandate is broad: financial control, FP&A, commercial finance, and an ongoing transformation agenda. You’ll need to hold all of it without losing your cool.
This is a role with real scope to shape how finance operates in the region. The right person will come in, earn the trust of the business quickly, and build something that lasts.

What We’re Looking For
- You’ve genuinely done both sides — Financial Control and FP&A/Commercial Finance. Not one with a passing familiarity of the other.
- – You’re a natural people leader. Your team respects you, not because of your title, but because of how you show up. You give clear direction. You coach.
- You grasp things quickly. In a fast-moving business, you can’t afford to need multiple rounds of context-setting before forming a view.
- You stay composed. When the business is under pressure, you’re the one who brings it down a notch — not up.
- Experience in consumer goods, FMCG, distribution, or related product-driven sectors is an advantage. Some exposure, at minimum, is preferred.
