  • High-impact finance role with executive influence
  • About the company
Our client is a large, listed, product-based, consumer-facing organisation operating in a complex and highly commercial environment.

The business is navigating a significant period of transformation, with a clear focus on performance, disciplined investment and building the capability required for its next phase.

Finance plays an influential role across the organisation, with this position providing significant exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to shape how financial information is used to drive performance.

    What you'll do
As a senior member of the finance leadership team, you'll lead the organisation's financial performance agenda and provide commercial and strategic insight across a broad range of enterprise priorities.
    • Own the financial planning, performance and commercial finance agenda, ensuring resources and priorities remain aligned with the organisation's strategic direction.
    • Lead the annual planning and budgeting cycle, together with longer-term financial outlooks, scenario analysis and strategic planning.
    • Drive a rigorous forecasting process, providing early visibility of emerging trends, risks, opportunities and changes in expected performance.
    • Translate financial, operational and commercial information into clear recommendations for the executive leadership team and senior governance stakeholders.
    • Provide oversight of financial performance reporting, ensuring leadership has a clear and timely view of results, outlook and key business drivers.
    • Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to understand commercial performance, identify opportunities and support informed decision-making.
    • Shape the financial evaluation of major initiatives, investment decisions and competing priorities, bringing commercial rigour to resource allocation.
    • Establish effective performance measures and management disciplines that promote ownership, accountability and improved business outcomes.
    • Provide financial insight into business performance, helping leadership understand the key commercial drivers influencing revenue, margin, costs and returns.
    • Work across the organisation to strengthen commercial thinking, financial accountability and performance management.
    • Support senior leadership through periods of change by providing objective financial insight, constructive challenge and commercially grounded recommendations.
    • Represent Finance with credibility at executive and governance forums, building confidence in the quality of financial information and recommendations.
    • Lead and develop a high-calibre finance team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, commercial thinking and continuous improvement.
    About you
    • CA/CPA qualified with 12 + years significant senior finance leadership experience.
    • A seasoned finance executive with a strong track record across financial planning, performance, commercial finance and strategic decision support.
    • Experience operating in a large, complex organisation, ideally within a listed product-based or consumer-facing environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with executive and senior governance stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to assess investment choices, challenge assumptions and influence business outcomes.
    • Proven experience leading financial transformation, performance improvement or significant organisational change.
    • An influential and confident communicator who can turn complex financial and commercial information into clear business recommendations.
    What's on offer
    • A genuine enterprise-level finance leadership opportunity with significant influence across the organisation.
    • The opportunity to shape financial performance, planning, investment decisions and commercial priorities at scale.
    • A highly visible leadership role during a significant period of transformation.
