We’re partnering with two leading organisations—a $1bn+ private business and a complex, multi-entity institution—to appoint exceptional Financial Controllers in Sydney.

These are visible, high-impact roles working closely with the CFO and executive team, with real influence over financial performance, governance, and decision-making.

The Role

• Lead financial control, statutory reporting & audit
• Own GL integrity, balance sheet & internal controls
• Deliver board reporting and commercial insights
• Oversee tax compliance (GST, FBT, corporate tax)
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business
• Lead and develop high-performing finance teams
• Drive process, systems & reporting improvements

What We’re Looking For

• CA / CPA qualified
• Strong technical accounting & financial control background
• Experience in large, complex organisations
• Confident operating with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication & storytelling skills
• A leader with presence, judgement and backbone—able to challenge, push back and hold others to account
• Immediate availability / 1 month notice period
