Financial Controller | $160k + Super | 6-Month Contract, true Temp-to-Perm | Large Family Office

Join a highly successful and well-established family office in a key Financial Controller role executing on end-to-end financial accounting across a diverse investment portfolio. This is a broad, hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, lean environment where you can take ownership, streamline processes, and deliver high-quality reporting. Whilst there is limited support from an external accountant and a temp assistant, this will be a hands-on role where you will be doing the work yourself. The office is in an enviable sought after city building but you have to be comfortable knowing it is an office of only 3 - 5 people max.

The Opportunity:

• Lead financial accounting, month-end, consolidated reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and controls
• Drive accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement across the finance function, lots of opportunities for improvements
• Own banking relationships, make decisions on best use of cash
• Work closely with the CFO on financial insights and performance updates
• Support portfolio management, cashflow oversight and investment-related accounting
• Temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability

About You:

• Finance Manager / Financial Controller background
• Strong technical accounting skills and commercial mindset
• Experience across investments, property, family office or similar desirable
• Hands-on, detail-driven and comfortable operating in a small, high-performing team
