ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of revenue recognition, WIP, billing, and accounts receivable across project-based contracts. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate month-end reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful insights that support cash flow and business performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of revenue recognition, WIP, billing, and accounts receivable across project-based contracts. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate month-end reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful insights that support cash flow and business performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own revenue recognition across project-based contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain WIP integrity and support timely revenue conversion
- Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and revenue reporting
- Ensure billing accuracy, manage aged debt, and support collections and dispute resolution
- Partner across the business with various stakeholders
- Deliver insights on revenue, WIP, and AR performance.
- CA/CPA qualified (working towards will be considered)
- Strong financial accounting experience.
- Must be a strong communicator and dealing with senior level stakeholders
- Solid understanding of revenue recognition (IFRS/AASB)
- Exposure to contract or project-based environments
- ERP experience (SAP or similar)
