About the Role
The Finance Transformation Lead plays a critical role in delivering the finance transformation agenda across the region. Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation this role is responsible for driving process improvement, supporting systems implementation, and embedding scalable, best-practice finance ways of working.
This role will suit a hands-on finance transformation professional who enjoys working close to delivery. You will partner closely with Finance, Technology, and Operations stakeholders, acting as both a problem-solver and change agent to translate transformation priorities into practical outcomes.
Key Job Responsibilities
Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
- Deliver finance transformation initiatives across regional operations, including process redesign, standardisation, and automation.
- Analyse existing finance processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved, scalable solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, control, and insight across finance.
- Support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing enhancement of finance systems, including ERP, reporting, and automation tools.
- Work closely with Technology and Digital teams to ensure solutions meet business and finance requirements.
- Contribute to the uplift of finance data, reporting, and analytics capability.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Development, and Operations to embed new processes and systems.
- Support senior leaders in driving adoption of new ways of working across a geographically dispersed business.
- Act as a key point of contact for finance transformation initiatives within assigned workstreams.
- Operate as a hands-on contributor, owning delivery of defined workstreams and initiatives.
- Manage competing priorities and timelines to ensure delivery to scope and quality.
- Support change management, documentation, and training to ensure sustainable outcomes.
- Proven experience in finance transformation, financial systems, process improvement, or related roles.
- Hands-on exposure to finance systems implementation or optimisation (ERP, automation, reporting tools, finance processes standardisation).
- Experience within large, complex organisations (typically $500m+ turnover), ideally within infrastructure, real assets, technology, or capital-intensive environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with a broad stakeholder group.
- CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
- Background in finance, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting environments advantageous.
