Our client (a large listed business) is looking for a Finance Manager to join their high performing finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the position is responsible for managing and directing all finance and accounting activities across the business. You will lead a small, high-performing finance team and play a key role in strengthening financial operations, internal controls, and reporting standards in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced finance professional who thrives in building capability, improving processes, and partnering with the business.


RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:

• Overall controllership and ensure effective financial accounting
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures, policies and controls 
• Manage external auditors
• Oversee and manage financial operations
• Work with the team to implement new and improve upon existing processes, using accounting software and automation tools

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong accounting process knowledge
• Experience in a large complex environment
• Demonstrable people leadership
• CA qualified, preferably from big 4 or tier 2 firm
• Strong Communicator
• Advance knowledge of accounting/IT systems, particularly Oracle
