Financial Manager (Contract → Temp-to-Perm) | $210k + Super | Immediate Start

High-growth business. Complex accounting (Fixed Assets, Leases). Big exposure. Immediate impact.

I’m partnering exclusively with a well-known national organisation undergoing major transformation — and they urgently need a strong, technically sharp Financial Manager to step in immediately.

This is a senior contract role (with genuine temp-to-perm potential) covering a critical gap before the incumbent leaves in early January. Perfect for someone who thrives in complex environments, can steady the ship, and wants real visibility with Group.

The Role:

You’ll take full ownership of:

• Monthly & quarterly reporting to Group (> $1bn shareholder)
• Balance sheet integrity – provisions, GL recs, controls
• Banking & cash-flow management
• Internal + external audits
• Fixed assets & depreciation
• AASB16 / lease accounting
• Value-in-use modelling & 5-year planning inputs
• Payroll oversight (500+ employees)
• Tax reporting & compliance

This sits at the centre of the business — highly visible, highly impactful, and absolutely hands-on.

Who You Are:

They’re looking for one of two archetypes:

1. CA from Audit (Assistant Manager / Manager level)

Looking to step into an industry role where your technical horsepower actually gets used.

1. A seasoned Senior Financial Accountant / FM

OR

Someone who’s been there, done that, with excellent detail orientation, strong balance sheet skills, and the ability to mentor a team.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong technical accounting capability
• Ability to “own the numbers” and stand behind the balance sheet
• Confidence to challenge, elevate risks, and propose solutions
• Strong communicator — you’ll work closely with Head Office
• Ability to lead, coach and review work across a team of seven
• Calm under pressure — this area has been through change, and you’re here to stabilise it
