This is a role with genuine senior exposure. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own the Group's external reporting and technical accounting agenda. You will lead the statutory and ASX reporting cycle and own the external audit relationship. In addition, you will also lead and develop a small team and assist in building a best in class reporting function that is scalable, efficient and operating effectively.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a role with genuine senior exposure. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own the Group's external reporting and technical accounting agenda. You will lead the statutory and ASX reporting cycle and own the external audit relationship. In addition, you will also lead and develop a small team and assist in building a best in class reporting function that is scalable, efficient and operating effectively.
DUTIES
- Own half-year and full-year statutory financial statements under IFRS and AASB
- Lead the ASX periodic reporting and continuous disclosure cycle
- Prepare board and Audit & Risk Committee papers on key judgements and reporting outcomes
- Act as the Group's technical expert on revenue, leases, financial instruments and business combinations
- Prepare & review technical position papers and advise on major transactions before execution
- Own the external audit end to end, resolving complex matters with the auditors
- Maintain the Group accounting policy framework and strengthen reporting controls
- 8–10+ years in external reporting, technical accounting or audit, including Big 4 or mid-tier experience
- CA/CPA qualified, with deep, current knowledge of IFRS, AASB and ASX requirements
- Ownership of the full statutory reporting cycle for a listed or complex multi-entity group
- Proven experience managing external audits end to end
- Strong technical writing for senior and board-level audiences
- Experience leading and developing finance professionals
