About Our Client

Responsibilities
- Own month-end and year-end close end to end, including journals, reconciliations and reporting packs
- Keep the general ledger clean and fully reconciled across bank, WIP, fixed assets and intercompany
- Own debtor and creditor performance with direct line of sight to cash flow
- Ensure all statutory and tax obligations are met including BAS, GST and FBT, and be the main contact for external auditors
- Produce monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting with variance analysis the business can act on
- Lead a small team across revenue accounting, financial accounting and accounts payable, and develop them throughout the engagement
- Identify where processes are breaking down and fix them
- CA or CPA qualified or in progress
- Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting role with direct team leadership
- Strong month-end close, GL and balance sheet governance track record
- Statutory compliance experience including BAS, GST and FBT
- ERP experience, SAP or similar, and strong Excel
- Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment and partnering with operational stakeholders
- Full working rights, including Working Holiday Visa.
