About the Role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be the day-to-day finance partner to the CTO and the technology and engineering team. This role sits where technical design decisions become financial outcomes, providing the modelling, insight and commercial support that shapes how it operates its infrastructure. You will need the credibility to engage engineers and to constructively challenge their assumptions.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be the day-to-day finance partner to the CTO and the technology and engineering team. This role sits where technical design decisions become financial outcomes, providing the modelling, insight and commercial support that shapes how it operates its infrastructure. You will need the credibility to engage engineers and to constructively challenge their assumptions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CTO and technology leadership on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Model the capex and opex impact of projects and prepare investment cases.
- Track capital spend, depreciation and key unit cost metrics.
- Support supplier negotiations, benchmarking and FX analysis.
- Review and determine the accounting treatment of technology contracts
- Own the month-end review for technology and operations.
- Deliver clear, commercially focused executive reporting
- CA or CPA qualified, with 10+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
- Strong technical accounting skills; Big 4 or financial accounting background highly regarded.
- Experience in an asset-intensive sector such as infrastructure, telco, energy or technology.
- Advanced modelling and Excel skills, plus Power BI and ERP experience.
- Commercially minded and autonomous, able to communicate from technical to executive level
