A broad and varied GRC opportunity for an experienced compliance professional ready to take on a high-exposure, hands-on role. Reporting to the Head of Governance and Risk, you'll sit within a small, high-performing team with direct access to senior leaders - owning end-to-end compliance operations across regulatory obligations, internal controls, policy governance and assurance activities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
A broad and varied GRC opportunity for an experienced compliance professional ready to take on a high-exposure, hands-on role. Reporting to the Head of Governance and Risk, you'll sit within a small, high-performing team with direct access to senior leaders - owning end-to-end compliance operations across regulatory obligations, internal controls, policy governance and assurance activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and maintain the compliance obligations register and drive remediation across the business
- Lead risk assessments, compliance reporting and periodic assurance processes
- Conduct control testing, validation and documentation
- Manage the policy suite - review cycles, document control and attestations
- Contribute to risk register updates and enterprise risk reporting
- Coordinate internal audit, business continuity and probity activities
- Administer complaints, grievance and integrity registers
- Act as the primary compliance resource and advisor for business units
- 4-6 years' experience in compliance, risk, governance or audit
- Demonstrated ownership of compliance registers, controls frameworks or assurance processes
- Exposure to a regulated or government-funded environment is a distinct advantage
- Strong technical understanding of GRC principles and frameworks
- Sharp attention to detail with the ability to own reporting and documentation end-to-end
- Confident, credible communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
