CFO for a high profile, high growth family office in the scale up phase executing on end-to-end finance across a diverse investment portfolio.
  • Report to the Principal and Investment Committee
  • Entrepreneurial and high growth | Energetic and passionate CEO
  • Hybrid | Central Location
  • Responsible for financial stewardship, risk management, and governance infrastructure of the Family Office. You will ensure disciplined capital allocation, robust financial controls, and transparent reporting to the Principal and investment committee.

Safeguard the family’s financial interests, support long-term wealth preservation, and enable multi-generational continuity through institutional-grade systems, processes, and oversight.

This is a broad, hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, lean environment where you can take ownership, streamline processes, and deliver high-quality advice and reporting. Whilst there is support from a Finance Manager this will be a hands-on role, particularly as the business grows and scales, so you should be comfortable being part of a small team delivering high impact.

    The Opportunity:
    • Lead the development of the Family Office’s financial strategy and liquidity planning.
    • Advise the CEO and Principal on capital allocation across operating businesses, investments, real estate, philanthropy, and personal assets.
    • Model long-term scenarios, intergenerational wealth trajectories, and funding requirements for family priorities.
    • Lead treasury management, cashflow forecasting, and capital adequacy.
    • Deliver timely, accurate, consolidated reporting across entities, trusts, partnerships, and investment vehicles.
    • Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk framework.
    • Partner with the CEO and Investment Managers to evaluate opportunities, review due diligence, and assess financial implications.
    • Oversee performance measurement, benchmarking, and portfolio analytics.
    • Oversee tax planning, structuring, and compliance across trusts, companies, partnerships, and international holdings.
    About You:
    • High integrity, sound judgement, and a stewardship mindset.
    • Ability to operate with discretion, low ego, and a service-oriented approach.
    • CA/CPA qualified with significant experience in finance leadership roles.
    • Background in family offices, private investment groups, private equity, real estate, or complex multi-entity environments.
    • Strong understanding of trusts, corporate structures, tax planning, and intergenerational wealth frameworks.
    • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional reporting and cross-border structures.
A rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a respected, growing family office and deliver impact across high quality investments. If this is the role for you please apply via the link to Shanthi Smith.
