  • Some sales roles are about maintaining relationships. This one is about creating them.

    Refresco has created this Business Development Manager role to accelerate growth across the Independent Grocery channel, giving one person the opportunity to build new customer relationships, unlock commercial opportunities and help shape the future of the channel.

    You'll inherit a solid foundation of existing customers while focusing on expanding relationships, identifying new business opportunities and growing Refresco's presence across independent retailers nationally.

    Unlike many sales roles, you'll spend your time doing exactly what you joined sales to do. Rather than sitting in endless internal meetings, you'll be out talking to customers, building relationships, solving commercial problems and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

    Working within a lean, agile organisation, you'll enjoy the autonomy to make decisions, contribute ideas and build your own way of working without layers of bureaucracy slowing you down.

    The Role Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will:

    • Grow Refresco's presence across the Independent Grocery channel.
    • Build and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers across multiple states.
    • Identify opportunities to increase ranging, distribution and promotional activity.
    • Support strategic customer initiatives, including exposure to the Metcash relationship.
    • Partner closely with internal teams to deliver new products and commercial solutions.

    About You

    You may currently be a Territory Manager, Business Development Manager, National Account Executive or Key Account Manager.

    More important than your title is your approach.

    You'll enjoy opening doors, building relationships and creating commercial opportunities. You're comfortable picking up the phone, getting out in front of customers and developing partnerships that drive long-term growth. You bring resilience, curiosity and initiative, and enjoy working in a business where your contribution genuinely makes a difference.
