This is a true business partnering role at the senior table - you'll be the commercial voice advising the Divisional CFO and executive team on strategy, performance and long-term financial sustainability. Big budgets, genuine complexity, and a seat at the table on every strategic decision that matters.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as trusted advisor to the Divisional CFO and executive leadership on all strategic and commercial finance matters
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across a large, multi-entity portfolio
- Deliver insightful performance reporting, KPI analysis and financial modelling that actually drives decisions
- Build business cases and feasibility analysis for major investments, new initiatives and capital proposals
- Identify and drive financial process improvement and change initiatives across the division
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- CA/CPA qualified with extensive FP&A and business partnering experience in large, complex organisations
- A natural relationship builder - comfortable influencing and challenging senior executives
- Strong commercial instincts backed by first-class analytical and modelling skills
- Experience leading finance teams and operating through periods of significant change
- Exposure to large ERP and performance reporting environments (Oracle, PeopleSoft, Hyperion or similar)
- Genuine strategic seat - advise at executive level, not just report to it
- Rare scale and complexity - one of the largest divisional portfolios in the country
