Job brief
We are working on a short term temporary opportunity for an AR Officer to support a backlog clean up project within the building materials industry. This role will focus on clearing unallocated remittances, data entry, reconciliations, and general clean up across accounts.
This is a hands on role suited to someone detail driven, methodical, and comfortable working through repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency. It will suit someone with prior AR or transactional finance experience who can step in quickly and help bring the accounts back up to date.

- Process and allocate unallocated remittances
- Complete high volume data entry accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Support account clean up activities
- Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed methodically
- Assist the team in clearing a backlog of work built up between December and March
- High attention to detail
- Previous AR experience preferred
- Excel skills
- Methodical and organised working style
- Ability to stay focused while completing repetitive tasks
- Confidence reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies
- Immediate or short notice availability will be highly regarded
