We're working with a fast growing fintech business looking for an Accountant to join on a 6 month fixed term contract. Sitting in group finance, this role will support month end, transactional finance, reconciliations, and day to day accounting in a lean, hands on team.
This will suit a strong Financial Accountant coming from an SME, startup, or scale up environment who is comfortable working across both month end and operational finance support.

Our client is a well backed fintech business with a collaborative and fast paced environment. With a smaller office and lean structure, they are looking for someone who is practical, tech savvy, and happy to roll up their sleeves across a broad finance remit.
 
Responsibilities

• Support month end close including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Assist with transactional finance and general day to day accounting support
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and support reporting requirements
• Work confidently across Google Sheets and finance systems
• Support a lean group finance team with hands on, end to end accounting tasks
• Contribute to process improvements and help keep finance running smoothly

• Part qualified or fully qualified CA or CPA
• Strong Financial Accountant background with end to end accounting exposure
• Ideal experience in an SME, startup, or scale up environment preferred
• Comfortable supporting both month end and transactional finance processes
• Strong Google Sheets and Excel skills
• Tech savvy, adaptable, and comfortable in a smaller business environment
