Hi, I am Greg
Founder & Executive Director
I am one of the Founders and an Executive Director for [axr]. I lead our Career Advisory and Transformation practice and specialise in Accounting, Finance and Business Transformation Recruitment. I’m also one of the Program Directors for The [axr] CFO Incubator.
About Greg
After graduating from University with a Major in Business, I commenced my career on a graduate program with German multi-national BASF. I made my first move to recruitment in 1993 with a leading international recruitment company, followed by a stint in a growing Australian specialist. In 2003, Greg O’Shea and I established [axr] to focus on providing genuinely specialised niche recruitment and search solutions in accounting and finance.
With over 20 years of in-depth knowledge of the Australian and Sydney market, I bring significant experience and knowledge to any mandate. I love working closely with top ASX 300, multinational and private companies, to secure the best talent for finance, leadership and operational teams. However, one of the things I am most proud of is that I have mentored and educated numerous professionals to make great career decisions throughout my career.
On my own time, I mix my professional endeavours with quality time with my family and a passion for sport, especially anything on 2 wheels like cycling and motorcycling. There is still the occasional (and sometimes forgettable) visit to a golf course or if the sun is out and the surf is under 3-foot, I may drop in on the occasional wave.
