Hi, I am Ben

Principal Consultant

I am the Principal Consultant for the Marketing recruitment team for [axr], specialising in recruiting mid to senior Marketing roles across many industry verticals, including (but not limited to) Financial Services, Travel, Hospitality, Entertainment, Retail, SaaS, FMCG, Professional Services, Agriculture, Automotive, Medical, Education and Government.

Born and bred in Sydney, my career started in Hotel, Venue and Events Management before finding my true calling in Recruitment. Since 2008, I’ve been honing my skills and building my networks to specialise in Marketing. What I like about marketing recruitment is that it is a sector that comes with really interesting talent that can be both creative and data driven. The stories that candidates present are never the same and I support the candidates by helping them present the best version of themselves.

From a client perspective, I get to work across so many different industries and amazing brands. It is this variety that really keeps me motivated. What I have been able to offer my clients is a true partnership. My consultation with clients is focused on developing long term relationships, ultimately to source the best match for their needs whilst providing market insights for long term planning.

Examples of the types of roles I place, include CMO’s, Marketing Directors, Heads of Marketing, Heads of Digital Marketing, CRM Marketing, Digital Marketing Managers, Brand Managers & Marketing Managers.

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family and friends. My twin daughters keep me busy and when I get the opportunity for a ‘date night’, my wife and I love to experience the amazing restaurants that Sydney has to offer.
