I am a Senior Consultant who specialises in recruiting recently qualified to mid-level Accounting and Finance professionals.

About Amanda

I went to Endeavour College of Natural Health – got a Bachelor of Health Sciences majoring in Nutritional Medicine. Practised as a Nutritionist for 18 months but then decided I wanted to try out the corporate world. A friend suggested I get into recruitment, I had no idea what it was, had to watch YouTube videos of ‘what a recruiter does in a day’. I worked with recruitment in the Commercial Banking / SME Lending space for almost 2 years, then was poached by a client to take a Strategic Partnerships role. And now back to recruitment with [axr] and very excited for the journey ahead. I now specialise in recruiting recently qualified mid-level Accounting and Finance professionals for FMCG and retail industries.

We are passionate about helping professionals develop and grow their careers with our [axr] career program, Finance to Leadership Incubator and career podcast, “Your Future in Finance”, to help future leaders understand their career pathways and make great career decisions through learning from our current leaders.

Outside work, I’m a Bondi girl through and through. Wake up for sunrises on the beach most mornings, and love the coastal walks, local cafes, and live music bars at night.
