On Tuesday morning we had the pleasure of interviewing Martin Nicholas, CEO of Greencross, as part of our CFO Incubator series. We would like to thank Martin for taking the time to share insights in to his career journey and providing advice to aspiring finance professionals.
Martin had a stellar career with Unilever over a period of 21 years. He moved cross-functionally and around the globe with the business. His success was built off the back of doing a good job in the role he had and opportunities came to him.
After leaving Unilever he progressed into several CFO roles with an FTSE 100 Business and then into Private Equity backed businesses. Today he is the CEO of Greencross, a position that he did not set out to achieve but was fortunate enough to move in to.
