Founders

Greg Madden completed university with a Major in Business and commenced his career with a multinational pharmaceutical company. He made his first move into recruitment in 1993, with a leading international recruiter. Specialising in accounting recruitment, he established a number of new offices for the company and progressed to the position of Director. In 1999, he took the opportunity to become an integral member and founding Director of an Australian ASX listed start-up recruitment company, becoming the CEO of the Australian operation.

Greg O'Shea completed university with a Major in Accounting and Finance and commenced his career in the Chartered Accounting profession. He made his first move to recruitment in 1996, with a leading international recruitment company. As he has done throughout his career, Greg specialised in accounting recruitment. In 1999, he joined an Australian start-up recruitment business and was responsible for the organic growth of the Commerce & Industry Accounting division.

Accounting

Tricia Liverpool graduated with a First Class English degree from the University of London. She then gained five years public relations experience working in London and later Hong Kong, where she was eventually headhunted by the founders of a leading Australian accounting recruitment business. After spending four years recruiting for the banking and finance industry, she was seconded to Victoria to set up the Melbourne arm of the organisation. Tricia joined Absolute to head the Accounting Practice.

Engineering

Matt Gorrie commenced his career in the UK where he spent 5 years with a multinational consultancy as a Project Engineer. On his return to Australia, Matt joined a major Engineering recruitment consultancy in 2002 and established himself in the Sydney marketplace, building a successful team covering all facets of engineering recruitment. Matt joined absolute to head the Engineering Practice.
